Description:
  • Donated as part of the Aidan O'Hara collection, this recording  may have been made at two different times and locations. The first three tracks, featuring a conversation with Richard Dalton, may have been made in the vacinity of Gooseberry Cove, Placentia Bay. The remaining tracks were likely recorded in the Roche household in Branch, Newfoundland, where Aidan recorded many of the singers in the area. Recordings were made with a portable Uher 200 Report IC reel-to-reel.
